About the Book
It's time for Jack Frost to learn his lesson!

Best friends Kirsty Tate and Rachel Walker usually only get to spend vacations and holidays with each other. But for a special week, they'll both be going to the same school! It's a good thing the two friends are together. Jack Frost is causing trouble at the Fairyland School--and the School Day Fairies need help!

Alison's gold art badge is nowhere to be found. Rachel and Kirsty have to find it before art class gets really messy!

My Take on the Book
Allison is a fairy and her two human friends are Kristy and Rachel. Kristy and Rachel assist the fairies when there is a problem. In this particular book Allison's gold medal has been stolen. She uses the medal to assist her in making sure the art lessons in school are interesting and run smoothly.

Because the medal has been stolen the children find their art projects are messy and quite a disaster. Kristy and Rachel come to the rescue and locate the medal. A goblin has stolen it from Allison. The girls are quick thinking and creative with their retrieval of the medal. Thus the art projects become successful and fun once again.

This book is one of a series of books written by Daisy Meadows. It is written on a fourth grade reading level and the story line will interest children in second through third grades.
