About the Game
From the highest rooftop to the lowest sewer, no criminal is safe after the release of Activision Publishing, Inc.’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a single-player, third-person action game based on the upcoming Paramount Pictures’ film of the same name. As mad mutant mastermind Baxter Stockman rallies his army of malicious creatures and cybernetic drones behind Shredder and the Foot Clan, New York’s only salvation from their combined campaign of chaos lies in the blinding-fast, hack-and-slash martial artistry of Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo.

Developed by Magic Pockets, each Turtle brings a unique set of weapons, strengths and abilities to the fray that reflects their diverse personalities, from Leo’s cool, balanced prowess with the blade to Raph’s raw, brute-force vigor. Players can swap between these four characters at any time, adding a layer of strategic choice to every enemy and boss encounter. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles also features a variety of weapon crafting, RPG-like leveling and hidden collectible gameplay, progression and exploration mechanics.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is now available for Nintendo 3DS™ hand-held system for $29.99 and is rated E10+ (Everyone 10 and up) by the ESRB. Its cinema counterpart opens in theaters worldwide on August 8. For all the latest Turtles stories as they evolve, check out https://www.facebook.com/TMNT.

My Take on the Game
This was a fun game! I loved that I could easily toggle between the four turtles depending on the situation and what type of enemies I was facing. I came to find, through some help from the game that I needed to use certain turtles with certain enemies, so you do get some guidance and then go from there. The game is a bit repetitive in each level for an older player, but even as an adult I still found it fun, especially if you are already a TMNT fan. You do get the ability to upgrade the turtles, making them stronger and more powerful. I liked the 3D effect too. The 3D was not just an add-on, but it did add to the game play. All-in-all this was a fun game that is very entertaining and any TMNT fan will definitely have fun. Cowabunga!
