Book Review - Tukie Tales: A New Beginning For a Better Tomorrow

About the Book
After wandering away from the safety of their home, Jake and Amy were lost inside the forest. It was getting dark and a thunderstorm was approaching fast. Frightened and tired, they found a talking woodpecker named Lulu. Realizing the danger the children were in, she led them to the Tukies. The Wise One gave the young Tukies special abilities that humans don’t have. The thunderstorm was getting closer and dangerous situations occurred. Rue and Kaawen used their special abilities to save everyone. The adventures and lessons learned along the way helped the children realize the dangers of wandering away from the people they love.

From the Authors
We believe today’s parents are ready for something different, and Tukie Tales is ready to deliver. Imagine a world where people treat each other with respect, kindness, and would care about other living things. We believe these concepts can change the future course of our world. We want children to be safe, to have honest values and care about the world we live in. Tukie Tales is a "problem solving" series of fun books for parents and children.

About the Authors
Debbie and Patty are not only sisters, they're also best friends. After growing to adulthood and having families of their own, they strived to raise their children with the honest values every good parent has. Deeply affected by the terrible events unfolding day by day worldwide, the sisters felt compelled to do something. They were saddened by the way people bullied and treated each other. After much deliberation, they decided to begin striving for a change with very young children. TUKIE TALES was written with compassion and love for all of our world's children in hopes of making a difference. This book is dedicated to our children, our grandchildren, and all children of the world.

My Take on the Book
This was a fun book that makes your children think about how they would solve the problems that are presented to the main characters which is something that I love to see in children's stories. On top of this, the characters were fun and memorable, and my daughters loved hearing about them and asked if there were other books like this. I for one am looking forward to watching for more books in the future from these authors!
